This holistic beauty treatment blends traditional Ayurvedic practices with modern skincare techniques. The goal of this facial is to balance the whole person while rejuvenating and restoring the skin’s natural glow. The process begins with a mini-consultation to determine your Dosha, or mind-body type, which helps customize the treatment to suit your unique needs. The facial starts with a gentle cleansing using natural ingredients such as rose water, aloe vera, or other local, herbal formulations followed by a gentle exfoliation with a cool herbal paste aiming to remove dead skin cells and impurities without stripping the skin of its natural oils. After exfoliation, a steam treatment is used to open up the pores and allow for deeper cleansing. This step is often accompanied by aromatic herbs or essential oils to promote overall relaxation. To further cleanse the respiratory passages, a Nasya is then applied, which consists of herb infused oil administered to each nasal passage. Next, a customized face mask is applied to address specific skin concerns. These masks are made from a variety of natural ingredients, including neem, tulsi, honey, and yogurt, each chosen for its unique properties, and/or healing effects. Following the mask, a facial massage using gentle, upward strokes and circular motions is performed to promote lymphatic drainage, improve blood circulation, and stimulate the skin's natural healing processes. After the massage, a floral water mist or toner is used to refresh and balance the skin. The treatment concludes with the application of a nourishing serum made from natural plant extracts and infused with Ayurvedic herbs chosen to address specific skin concerns and Dosha imbalances. The experience of an Ayurvedic facial goes beyond skincare; it aims to promote overall well~being by harmonizing the whole person.
