An Ayurvedic Journey is designed around the three traditional Ayurvedic treatments of Abhyanga, Swedana, and Shirodhara. It focuses on providing a holistic experience that caters to physical health, mental relaxation, and overall well-being. Upon arrival at the Ayurvedic spa, you start with an in~depth intake form and consultation where we’ll assess your dominant Dosha and then tailor the treatment specifically to your needs. The journey begins with an Abhyanga massage and the application of warm, medicated oil infused with herbs suitable for your dosha. It is performed with rhythmic strokes that help to increase circulation, relieve tension, and nourish your skin. The abhyanga is followed by an herb-infused steam sauna, which builds upon the benefits from the oil massage, facilitating deeper penetration of the oils, opening up skin pores, promoting detoxification, and increasing circulation. After a short break, your session continues with the Shirodhara. Here, the warm medicated oil is gently poured in a continuous stream over your forehead for 30-40 minutes . This therapy is known to balance the nervous system, induce deep relaxation and even enhance overall mental clarity. Post-treatment, you're given time to rest and reflect on your experience, letting the therapies take full effect. Once you have returned to earth from the rejuvenating ethers, your journey is concluded with a nourishing Ayurvedic lunch composed of foods that align with your dosha to promote digestion, balance, and increased energy.
